The annual musical talent contest will be
held in conjunction with the Alabama Pecan Festival. This contest
will feature musical talent in individual, group, and band.
Each entry must be accompanied by an
application and a $10.00 entry fee in the form of a money order made
payable to Alabama Pecan Festival. All applications should be submitted
between September
15th and October 31st of each year. (Late entries will be accepted
with approval but must be accompanied with all forms and all fees before
performance.)
All talent will be judged equally based on
the following:
Continuity, Style, Overall Performance, Originality and Concept, Actual
Presentation, and Audience Reaction.
The field of entry will perform live
before the judges and audience On
the grounds of The Alabama Pecan Festival behind W.C Griggs Elementary
School - 5055 Carol Plantation Road. Beginning at 4pm. All ages welcome!
