Clent Holmes   

 

Clent Holmes (Guitarist): Born: 7/17/17 Columbus, Miss.

Bio: Clent first met Hank in Houston,TX when he was working with Hank Locklin on KLEE. He joined the Cowboys in 1948 and worked with them, on the Louisiana Hayride, until 1949.

After Hank disbanded this group of Cowboys Clent remained at the Hayride. He continued to work with Hank on and off when he came back in the area.

He is currently playing in a band called Hank's Drifters with Pee Wee Moultrie and Mayme Holmes (his wife).
