Chase McGinnis

 

 

At pre-school age, Chase started singing in church in his home town of Starkville, MS.  Today, at the age of 24 he is in great demand and is very popular.  He stays busy playing at church, parties, weddings, and funerals.

Chase has played various local oprys.  He played the Horse Park in Starkville for ticket sales for Kenny Chesney’s benefit concert at Rick’s Café.  Also, he has played gigs at Rick’s Café and Rick’s Courthouse Grill.

In Greenville, MS, Chase has opened the Baloonfest for Exile and the Krackerjacks.

In 2003 Chase entered and won the Fowler’s Talent Scout Competition in Branson, Missouri.  Later he entered Nashville Star and American Idol and advanced in those too.

At the Sturgis, MS Bike Rally Chase has opened to a crowd of over 35,000 people for Mountain, The Kentucky Headhunters, The Outlaws, and Sawyer Brown.

Chase has played with some of the most famous steel guitar players at the Magee, MS Steel Shows such as:  Don Helms (a Drifting Cowboy from Hank Williams’ Band), John Hughey (played for Conway Twitty and Vince Gill), Mike Johnson (Bill Anderson’s steel player; Mike was the music director and played steel on TNN for 13 years), Tom Brumley (a Buck Owens Buckaroo), “Cowboy” Eddie Long (played steel for Hank Williams, Jr.), and Joe Wright (Charley Pride’s steel player).

At the Hank Williams Festival in Georgiana, AL, Chase has won the talent contest and performed there too.

Chase has played several places in Nashville, TN, including Tootsie’s, Second Fiddle, Stage, and Robert’s.  He is hot and rolling and if the creek doesn’t rise and the good Lord’s willing, he hopes to continue entertaining.
